Students and their families lined the hallways at McGlone Academy overwhelmed by all the opportunities that were offered at Family Nature Night.

One students and her mother made matching mother-daughter shirts at Barr Lake State Park‘s table. They had a great time bonding while making them. they walked out with a fishing rod during the drawing.

Students went home with some amazing prizes thanks to Cabela’s. They could hardly contain their excitement as Colorado Parks and Wildlife Staff read off they numbers. With new outdoor equipment, they will be able to enjoy the outdoors even more.

The lines for Bass Casting and Archery were full all night with children wanting to hone their techniques for each.

Thanks to all our partners that participated during this event including Rocky Mountain Arsenal USFWS, Morrison Nature Center, Bird Conservancy of the Rockies, History Colorado,  and Environmental Learning for Kids (ELK).

Special thanks to the McGlone Academy Staff for their hard work and participation during the event. Thanks to their efforts we had a great turn out!
