Family Nature Night at Beulah School of Natural Sciences
May 22nd, 2017
Beulah School of Natural Sciences students and their families came together for an exciting evening filled with nature based activities!
Students and their families enjoyed an evening of nature themed fun with Colorado Parks & Wildlife and our fantastic participating partners: Pueblo Zoo, Mt. Park Learning Environmental Center, El Pueblo Museum.
Mt. Park Learning Environmental Center brought their furs and skulls to discuss the adaptations that Colorado wildlife have to survive and thrive. El Pueblo Museum brought artifacts to illustrate how Native People of Colorado completely utilized the Bison. Pueblo Zoo brought live critters for the students to see and even touch!
Archery and Fishing are always fun! Some students were testing out their marksmanship and angling skills for the first time, and now are certainly hooked on these outdoor activities!
The SOLE program would like to thank all of our partners, Beulah School of Natural Sciences families, CPW staff/volunteers and all that contributed in making this event a success!
